Angels Baseball, How I Miss Thee

Standard

The regular baseball season has come to end, and despite their gobs of potential and phenomonal rookie players, my boys once again lost the division title to the freakin Rangers. I already miss the singing “Fill Me Up Buttercup” during the 7th inning stretch, tailgate parties, and watching Trumbo hit a homer at almost every game. To ease the pain of the off season months, I’ll occasionally post some pictures commemorating one of the games we went to. Here are some pictures from the Labor Day game, when we beat the Seattle Mariners 7-3. This was one of my favorite games because, thanks to a generious birthday gift from the best boss ever, we had the most amazing seats! We were FIVE rows away from the field, right behind the on deck box. I could see the Angel’s faces! Seriously, it was unforgettable.

While you’re browsing my photos, answer me this: are you sad baseball season is over, or are you too busy watching football to even notice?

Funny little story. I went to go get Joe a beer but was denied because my license had expired. I completely forgot that it expired on my birthday this year! At least it was the beer guy that caught me and not a cop.

We Won! This was the best year for Joe and I as far as attending winning games...I think the Angels won every game except one that we attended.

Mike Trumbo, my favorite player, doing his post game interview. He hit a homerun that game...the second one we've seen him hit. He was on fire all season.
